evLite
evLite is a maintenance and diagnostic tool intended for use with the PSA group electric vehicles fitted with SAFT® Nickel Cadmium batteries.
The device is compatible with: ·

The main function of the device is to allow routine battery maintenance charging and watering.
Watering kit
The watering kit allows you to take care of the batteries yourself, without needing to rely on a dealer.
In fact, you are able to take much better care of them, by doing the watering procedure more frequently than simply waiting for the "add water" light to come on (we believe this is one cause of early battery death).
The kit contains:
- evLite device
- watering hose and adaptor to make a filling bottle using a recycled 5 litre water container
- Full instructions on assembling the kit and using the system
evLite is supplied with a 16-pin connector, which is the most common type used (the socket is located near the fusebox or near the bonnet release handle). Older cars may have a 2-pin connector near the 12V battery (see the parts page for an adaptor), and some others may have a 30 pin connector - I can't source an adaptor for this, but can supply a 16 pin socket to wire in to the car, on request.
The evlite device is the result of many hours of development work.
The unit is hand-built in Scotland, using lead-free RoHS components and is CE EMC compliant.
